Koraya originated from the Filipino words “kumpiyansa”, which means to have confidence, and “paraya”, which means to entrust. By combining both words, I created the word Koraya, which symbolizes honesty, confidence, and competence for people to trust in. If you look at the letter “o” of Koraya, you will see the upper portion representing a gold person reaching out to an orange person. This symbolizes Koraya reaching out to help people and forming a trusting relationship with them.

Koraya was founded by Kristoffer Ngo, a Certified Securities Representative, who has more than 10 years of experience in trading the Philippine stock market. Koraya’s aim is to educate Filipinos about the Philippine stock market and to provide analyses and credible news sources that can help the Filipino investor. Currently, there is a lack of financial literacy when it comes to the stock market and Filipinos are constantly looking for data that can guide them in their investment journey. In the Philippine stock market, there is rampant data that can mislead or miseducate the Filipino investor, but Koraya is here to guide investors in making their investment journey safer and more rewarding.
